What is Chromohypnosis?

Chromohypnosis is a gentle approach created by hypnotherapist Mary Collins that pairs hypnotic relaxation with colour. It uses visual cues, imagining and breathing with chosen colours, to help clients relax, rejuvenate and focus the mind: cool colours to calm, warm colours to energise and fresh colours to clear and reset.

Why it's worth knowing

So much of therapy depends on words. Chromohypnosis works with colour and simple visual cues, which gives you another way to reach clients when conversation is hard.

Chromohypnosis is a complementary relaxation approach. It doesn't diagnose, treat or cure any medical condition, and with clients who have health conditions it is used alongside their medical and care team, never instead of it.
